Credit/Debit card payments

Our payments are accepted via third party payment providers -  www.paypal.com and www.stripe.com.  Their terms of use and privacy policies can be found on their respective sites. We do not have access to, and do not store, our customer’s credit/debit card details.

 

What information do we collect?
Oakdene Laser Crafts collect information from you when you place an order on our site.   When ordering on our site you may be asked to enter information such as your name, e-mail address, postal address, or phone number, along with appropriate information to enable us to personalise and send you your order.

What we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in the following ways: 

  • To process transactions.  We use the information you give for your order to enable us to make it, such as personalisation of gifts.  

  • To post your orders. We use your name, address and contact details to send your orders to you via Royal Mail, or courier services.  Contact details (such as the email address you provide for order processing) may be used to send you information and updates regarding your order.

  • To improve our customer service and website.   If you give feedback on your experience with Oakdene Laser Crafts, we may use it to improve our service to you and future customers. 

 

The information we have will not be sold, transferred, exchanged or given to any other company other than for the purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.   We also need to keep a record of your order information in order to provide customer care and support, and to detect, prevent and/or address any technical issues.

Communication and Marketing

We use E-mail provider AOL for communication via angieanddave3000@aol.com.  We also promote/market/communicate our products/services using Facebook via https://www.facebook.com/OakdeneLaserCrafts/.  We operate the same ethos as has been referred to throughout this policy document.  AOL and Facebook’s terms of use and privacy can be found on their respective sites.

 

Pictures of products we have designed/made are an important part of marketing our products and services.  We will use pictures of products we have made across a wide range of media, and we will take care not to use images that clearly identify people or may cause embarrassment or emotional discomfort.  If you do not wish pictures of any portion of your product or service to be used by us for marketing please inform us clearly when communicating your order to us.

What about “Internet” data and Cookies?
Our website www.oakdenelasercrafts.co.uk uses a third-party Website platform provider (www.wix.com) who use a variety of security measures to maintain the safety/privacy of your personal information when you browse, place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. Wix’s terms of use and privacy policies can be found on their site.

Cookies are used to compile data about site traffic and site interaction so that the website offers a better site experience and tools in the future.  Cookies are defined and controlled by Wix.  You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, we are told it is possible you may not be able to use some portions of our Service (although this seems unlikely).
